Colour is not a screen decision.
The biggest mistake we see is people choosing colour on a screen. Light in your room behaves nothing like light from your monitor. North-facing in Ascot looks completely different to south-facing in Wilston even at the same time of day. A colour that looks crisp in a magazine spread can look chalky in your living room.
We do colour consultations the slow way: in person, with physical swatches, against your actual surfaces, watching how the swatches behave as the day moves.
Why 90 minutes matters.
A 30-minute consult doesn't give you time to watch the light shift. We arrive close to peak Brisbane sun, talk through what you want, lay the swatches, then watch them through a few hours of natural light. That's where the bad calls get caught.
What you walk away with.
- A palette recommendation (or two) for the rooms or elevations we covered.
- A sample-pot list for anything ambiguous.
- A written palette doc emailed within 48 hours: specific codes, brand, finish, area.
Take the doc to any painter. Or use it with us, and the $350 is credited back if you book a repaint within 6 months.
When to book it.
- Before a repaint, obviously.
- After a renovation, when the palette no longer balances.
- When a rental or investment property needs a fresh, broadly-appealing scheme between tenants.
- After moving in, if the existing colours aren't yours.
